Springbrook Refresh
This was a new home for my clients, equestrian empty-nesters with a lifetime of many varied interests and the collections to show for it. Their beautiful art, antique and objects fit perfectly into this new home with the backgrounds already established when they moved in, but their old upholstered furniture did not. This project involved solving the problem of artfully combining the old with the new, and to blend it all so that the rooms looked to be assembled together over many years.
Working with the already established clean grey and white palette with pops of color, texture and surface from their collections, I chose lush but hard-working fabrics for the seating options, and completed the look with a classic and luxurious linen for the windows.
To unify the space and pull everything together, they needed a repaired and refinished sofa, new custom upholstered chairs, new window treatments and new breakfast room chair cushions.
